The Difference Between Adsense and Adwords

Monday, July 9, 2007

Google is worth billions of dollars and hardly anyone has a clue why. There is 2 HUGE programs you should know about (Adsense and Adwords) which will shed light on why Google is worth so much. At the Bottom of this Post check out the slide show Difference Between Adwords and Adsense

Google Adsense:
If you were to place ads on your website pages with hopes to make money by interested people clicking on them wouldn't you want ads that are relative to the subject matter of those pages? Why have an advertisement for powertools on an all womens knitting forum? Google Adsense places ads on your site automatically and dynamically by reading the content in your HTML code then PAYS you when someone clicks on them!!! This program is excellent for web masters with plenty of traffic and not enough money in their pocket.

Google Adwords:
You just learned Adsense is for webmasters looking to make money by referring the traffic they have to other people's sites through clickable ads right? Adwords is the opposite! Adwords is for webmasters who have a website they are looking to advertise and promote. With Adwords, you pick and choose the keywords and categories your site is most suited to. You then Fund your Adwords Account with money and begin paying for advertising which shows up on exact searches for those keywords you specified. When a Google searcher finds your advertisement and clicks it, money is then taken from your account because that visitor made it to your website thanks to Google.
